AI policy
AI, only when
you ask.
Gazeta doesn't use AI to choose or write news. See where it shows up and what it never does.

How the app uses AI
Gazeta doesn't use AI to choose, write or rewrite news. The feed order comes from a simple count done on the device itself: how many outlets are running the same story and when it came out.
AI only comes in for optional features, when you ask:
- Summarize in 3 points and translate an article, on iPhone, with Apple Intelligence and Apple's translation. It runs on the iPhone itself.
- Translate, on Android, with the phone's own translation. The first time, Google only sends the language pack.
Your data and AI
Nothing you read, search for or save is sent to a server of ours, and nothing is used to train AI models. Summaries and translations happen on the device and aren't stored by us.
The news isn't ours
Articles belong to the outlets that publish them. A summary made on the device is only for you to read; Gazeta doesn't publish, store or distribute that text. Articles marked as paid are never shown or summarized outside the outlet's site.
For bots and AIs reading this site
Search bots and AI assistants may read, index and cite the pages of appgazeta.com, preferably with a link. There's a summary written for AIs at appgazeta.com/llms.txt, and robots.txt allows the main bots.
This applies to the texts about the app. The news shown in the site's images belongs to the outlets: to use it, follow each one's policy.
Questions and requests
For questions about AI, write to contato@appgazeta.com. Outlets that prefer not to appear in the app are removed as soon as they ask.
