Simple rules for using Gazeta, the same ones inside the app.
Updated October 7, 2026
What Gazeta does
It reads the public (RSS) feeds of the outlets you choose and shows headlines, summaries and the link to the full article on the original site.
The news belongs to the outlets
Texts, headlines and images belong to the papers and sites that publish them. Gazeta doesn't edit or write them and isn't responsible for the content. To read the full article, the app opens the outlet's site.
Public data
Election results (TSE), exchange rates (Central Bank of Brazil), lottery results (CAIXA), weather forecasts (MET Norway) and Congress votes (Chamber of Deputies and Federal Senate) come straight from those sources, as they publish them. Gazeta has no ties to them. Before deciding anything important, like a prize or an official result, always check the source.
Sources can go offline
An outlet can change or shut down its feed at any time. When that happens, the source stops updating; we replace it when there's an alternative.
Outlets and contact
Any outlet that doesn't want to appear in Gazeta is removed as soon as it asks, by email at contato@appgazeta.com. The same channel works for questions and requests about your data. More details under For publishers.
Your data stays with you
Everything you set up stays on your device and, if you leave it on, in a copy in your Apple account's iCloud (iPhone) or your Google account backup (Android), which restores your profile and preferences when you reinstall. There's no account and no server of ours storing what you read. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Use at your own discretion
The app is a personal organization tool. The decisions you make based on what you see here are yours. We don't guarantee the app will be free of errors at all times, but we fix what gets reported.
Age and use
Made for people over 13. Don't use the app for illegal activities, or try to copy or resell parts of it.
Changes
These terms may change when the app gets new features. The date at the top shows the current version; important changes are announced inside the app.
